Mit dem Europäischen Freiwilligendienst (ESC) können sich junge Menschen im europäischen Ausland engagieren. Sie leben und arbeiten dort in gemeinnützigen Projekten und haben die Chance, neue Eindrücke, Ideen und Perspektiven zu sammeln.

Die Freiwilligen werden vor, während und nach ihrem Dienst pädagogisch begleitet, Sprachkenntnisse sind erwünscht aber nicht erforderlich.
Die Biohof Blumenthal eG befindet sich derzeit im Prozess der Akkreditierung als Hosting Organization für ESC. GEN Deutschland unterstützt uns dabei als Supporting Organisation
Wir freuen uns, wenn wir ab April 2022 europäische Freiwillige in Blumenthal begrüßen dürfen.
Wie ist ein Freiwilligendienst im Biohof?
Du erhältst Einblicke in eine vielseitige ökologische Landwirtschaft. Dabei lernst du die Grundlagen des Gemüsebaus, der Ziegenhaltung, der Milchverarbeitung, Logistik und Vertrieb im Laden sowie der gesunden Gemeinschaftsverpflegung kennen. Außerdem kannst du ein selbstgewähltes Projekt mit dem Schwerpunkt ‘Nachhaltige Entwicklung und Gemeinwohl’ umsetzten. Als Freiwillige:r arbeitest du 30 Stunden pro Woche, 25 Stunden davon in der Landwirtschaft und 5 Stunden in deinem Projekt.

The European Voluntary Service (ESC) enables young people to get involved in other European countries. They live and work in charitable projects and have the opportunity to gain new impressions, ideas and perspectives.

The volunteers are pedagogically accompanied before, during and after their service, language skills are not required.
The Biohof Blumenthal eG is currently in process of accreditation as a host organization for ESC.
We would be happy to welcome european volunteers in Blumenthal from April 2022.
What is a voluntary service in the Biohof?
As a volunteer you will gain insights into a diverse ecological and sustainable agriculture. We grow 30 different types of vegetables, care for and milk 50 dairy goats, make our own cheese and run a plastic-free farm shop. Our products are also used to cook lunch for the community. You will also get to know the way we live together in our community and how we put innovative organisational approaches such as All Leader or participatory decision-making into practice. Also you can choose personal projects freely and use your own creativity and skills in the fields of sustainability with a clear solidarity aspect.
Volunteers work 30hrs per week, incl. 5 hrs for the individual project.
